Title: Critter control with Sniff n Stop
Post by: Barry & Cindy on November 16, 2014, 10:29:54 am
Anyone know about this technology to keep critters away?

This company has several products all called Sniff n Stop. Sniff'N'Stop (https://sniffnstop.com/)

At one of the sessions, at the Grandvention, we were told to get Rat Cab Fresh from a tractor supple store.  Put it in the bays and it does the trick for rats.  Haven't tried it yet, but going to.  This was advice from Dorothy and Jack, who were fixing all kinds of problems on various FT.  Hope that helps. I put Mouse Magic in all of the bays, the engine compartment, and the generator area for the winter.  It smells like peppermint.  Four years, no unwanted visitors.  The little paper bags disintegrate after a while leaving a granular cleanup mess so I put the bags in washed out plastic yogurt cups.

We also put a bag of Cab Fresh on the steps inside the front door.  This smells like fresh pine, nice.  We use one under out fake Christmas tree too to get that real tree sense.

Both products are available fron Amazon.

I use moth balls in engine compartment, and cotton balls soaked in pure peppermint oil in the storage bays. I even scatter moth balls around and on all the farm equipment to discourage mice and rat destruction. It has worked for me.

We use Cab Fresh and are well pleased with it. It seems to be effective, and it has a pleasant aroma.
