I am so sad to report another loss within our group, Tony Cuesta. He had been hospitalized in Sioux Falls a month or so for cancer treatment. The small tumor was discovered while traveling through the Montana and SD region. As John S. wrote me a pm when I informed him this morning, I will repeat, I hate this disease. Tony was born in California, raised in Cuba and escaped there when 16 years old. He was a retired NASA engineer and lately a TV/radio station engineer. He improved several areas of the coach they bought, traveling with Lora and a slight ly overweight dog, "baby".
Lora speaks limited english, she is resting today from a long night. Plans are being made there for services and a couple from Nebraska, staying at the RV park where they were, is helping greatly. She wants to stay in the U.S. and there are many plans to make, arrangements and decisions. Jackie and I enjoyed their six weeks in Nac when buying a coach and they had begun preliminary plans to move here to use it as home travel base and wintering location.

Sad. As I remember, Tony had a newer SOB that he sold or traded in on an Older FT so he could have less issues and have more fun. I spoke with him a few times before and after that transaction, seemed like a wonderful person.

I talked quiet a bit with Tony prior to his purchase and again afterwards. It is heartbreaking to see him get his dream coach and get on the road only to see this happen. It makes me thankful I started with my first FT 13 years ago now. You never know how long you have and I have learned to live every day fully.
