Left el paso this morning headed east on i10. After about two hours, the level system warning light on the dash came on, dinged once. Coach was driving fine so continued on to van horn, stopped at a truck stop. Coach looks level side to side, front to back. Checked the air bags, all the same except rear passenger corner inflated about one inch more than the rest. Attribute this to uneven parkin surface.
Level system light still on, travel light still on. Had no trouble leveling last night.
We're continuing east, will be in Nac next week for more slide repair. Suggestions, warnings for continuing to Nac?

I have had a similar experience twice. Both times I went back through the retract sequence i.e. deflate the bladder and retract til the red light goes out and I hear pressure build and stop. I'm not sure why, but to me it seems like there is a check valve that is not working properly and the loss of pressure lets the slide move just enough to set off the lights. Hope this helps
Could also be the "room in" sensor(s) needing to be aligned.

I think you're both right but I'm still a bit confused. In January when we retracted the slide, the top came in further than the bottom so locks couldn't engage. Friends helped me manually position the slide, locks engaged and we proceeded. Haven't extended the slide since then, but have traveled about 3k miles.
After about the first 1k miles, when i tried to put the coach in gear, gear selector just flashed. Checked the hwh control box, one led was red, one lock not engaged. Opened the control box and used the override switch, transmission engaged and we proceeded.
Now we have the level light warning make it's first appearance. Have visually checked the slide bladder, appears normally inflated. Earlier checked with hwh, was told if the bladder inflated, ok to proceed even if not all locks engaged.
If the problem is just the slide, I'm ok with proceeding. Just don't want to mess up the suspension.

I would definitely suspect the slide - you might want to call either James Triana at Foretravel or Mike Rodgers at MOT to confirm. It could be something with the synchronizing cylinder or the hydraulic fluid for the slide system. Have you checked the fluid level? To do so, make sure you know whether the slide(s) needs to be in or out (or in some cases one of each).
Since you have room locks, maybe Brad S. can help with some ideas, too. I know the 2002 system is somewhat different, but he had "slide creep" and has learned a lot about that system.
Hi Mike and Molly, I have had this happen. You should not have been able to get into gear so you have a switch thrown under the coach in the silver box. On the 01 you can have the level light and the travel light on at the same time. Other years you can not have that happen. If it happens again, you need to go under the first bay if that is where your HWH box is. There are two boxes, a big silver one and a smaller one with lights on it. They should all be green when you are ok but if you get the level light on it will tell you the position of the failing sensor on the slide. You want to know what one it is. There is a T sensor that senses that the pin is throw or open as well as a room in sensor up top. You need to see which one has the amber light on it. I found it was easier to just stick the phone under and take a picture and blow it up and look that way.

I sometimes think that very same thing but after you learn how they work, it is not as big an issue any longer but the curve is a bit steep.
We got to Austin with no change. Did notice the annunciator had stopped dinging when using the turn signals.
When we left Austin the level light was out and the annunciator had resumed dinging with turn signals. Will be at MOT and FOT in Nac this week. Will post if the mystery is solved.
