Good evening!
Taking the new to us U295 tailgating this weekend and would like to set up a TV in the basement or just outside the basement...........heading to storage tomorrow night to figure it out and thought someone may be able to shorten the learning curve.
Currently there is a satellite dish on the roof, satellite receiver in the coach. Looks like the original switch box?, behind the glass door, I select Aux 1 for the satellite feed to the front TV. There is the coax outlet in the basement with an electrical plug next to it. I am hoping that I can tap into that coax in the basement move satellite receiver to the basement tap into it and then into the TV. Will that work?
Hope this makes sense.....................Any thoughts / suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.
Our coach had the bedroom TV coax connected to the bay wall coax from splitter under a bathroom closet drawer.
Ours is the same as Berry's basement coax is tied to bedroom TV,
Per my previous discussion with James Triana, that is the way the factory wires them. Whatever feed the back TV is currently set to, the bay TV will receive it as well.
Theoretically ( ;) ), the outputs of the antenna, DVD or VCR, and satellite receiver go into the selector box, and you direct the feeds from there (select the input, select the output).
Thanks to all.........great information! Will try it this evening.
Were you able to get this to work?
Even my 1990 U280 is wired that way--- seems to work fine.
