Title: Belive it or not It was a missing Plug
Post by: Andy 2 on December 07, 2014, 07:47:08 pm
So just a follow up on my Air Dryer problem. After replacing the governor, and spending god knows how many hrs messing with this. I bought a new AD 9 Air dryer and installed it ^.^d  So I fire up the Coach and watch it build air and it get to 120 lbs and nothing :(  So I thought maybe the unloader in the compressor is stuck so I take the governor off and I hwe heard that a little ATF might loosen it up. So I i decided to push a little air thouugh the middle hole on the compressor and i hear the air going all the way though and out the engine side, and realize who ever rebuilt this motor for th PO did not bother to plug the extra port on the back side of the compressor, installed the new plug and Bingo all is good in My world, As it was not allowing the pressure to get high enough to unload. Thanks to all that helped out with my problem . Just a lesson learned. ;D

Thanks Ken, and I really learned alot about my air systems and found a few things that i was able to fix before they became a problem. Like the remote drain for my wet tank lol
