Just checking over my roof and the finish is dry , powdery and flaking !
Has anyone refinished their roof or is it a pro shop deal
Mine was done by FOT and was very pleased by the application and the material that was used.
I had Xtreme put up temp coat and I have been very happy with it as well. I would call both and ask them to tell you about there approaches.
FOT did ours a couple of years ago. So far so good. :D
We had our roof done at Xtreme in 2010 and are very pleased; we had the paint with non-skid additive done and would recommend Xtreme and that particular product.
Steve and I will strongly warn you away from the, to quote Sheldon Cooper, "hoakum" of any claim that a roof coating will provide extra insulation, R-value, etc. for your coach, or that the material is the same as "the space shuttle insulation" or approved by NASA. There are many posts on this, Steve has done an engineering analysis on it, and there is legal action ongoing involving many of the companies marketing those "wonder" products. Now, some good businesses are offering these coatings as well as the regular non-skid so make sure you know what you are putting on your roof.

If you don't want to do a refinish you can likely bring it back to its original bright and shiny look with Meguiar's Oxidation Remover 49 (Marine-RV). It is a LOT of work but the result is worth the effort. You can buy it at Ace Hardware.

Here is a link to a post with a couple of pics from a little over a year ago when we had FOT do ours:

So far it looks the same and stays relatively clean. Best of all though is no more white chalky runoff. That was a really big deal with our color coach.
Attached is Cindy's write-up on how she kept our coach looking better than new before we painted.
Other cleaners can be used, but the rest of the info will yield a forever great looking coach with some one-time work.
Wow , lots of reading .
I like the idea of paint that provides super insulation and stops my air con cycling ,
May paint our house with it !
Joking aside thanks for the advice , with ring local dealer for estimate .
Home much did you guys pay for straight anti slip paint
Jimmy, not found yet his send you a pm, but if you can to me I will share what we paid Xtreme. We got the paint with glass that is anti slip and stops chalking. Very pleased. FOT priced a rubberized coating that would add weight and was more meant to keep from leaking, neither of which did I need.
Mike
I did Xtreme - my recollection was $1,350? happy with the Xtreme job - search of rethread - this has been discussed in prior threads.
