Only because I am nosy and also because I am a complete dufus, regarding anything with a computer, could you give me a rough estimate on many hours you put into the new site? Sure is a great improvement, now that I am learning how to navigate.
I'm not Steve, but I have observed him in the wild.....
It wasn't just Foreforums but the underlying forum software that had to be written... Steve is one of several (volunteer) developers for that (mostly because of creating the original Foreforums)
At least a full-time "job" (yes, at least 8 hours/day) on average for at least the past 2 years just on the new stuff. Probably more than that because he doesn't take weekends (or evenings) off. Some days, like the 2 days of the rollout/transition, were more like 16 hours/day.
That is incredible. He has done an amazing job.
Thank you both.
And this is exactly why I say to you all,"HIT THAT DONATE BUTTON HARD" (when it arrives again)
Thank you both for caring about everything to do with Forefurum.

Great job Steve, Michelle and all others who had a hand in this new site.
I have had no problems navigating with my iPad as of yet. Again, Great Job!!!!!!
I had no idea it was that labor intensive. But then again it takes me two months to figure out a new smart phone!
Thanks for all the long hours you invest in the Forum.
My goodness!! We also had no idea it was that involved. Michelle, please let the "wild man" know how much he is appreciated. And we suspect you have a hand or two in the success of this forum as well. Thank you both! And please..bring on that Donate Now button.
Peggy and I echo all of the above. Michelle, now that it's done will you get a chance to travel more? We miss you guys.
Thank You so very much Steve, Michele and others
who make this forum a blessing to "newbies" like me.
Happy New Year.
Jim
