Hello again all,
I'm looking at the 38' 320 that is for sale on RVT and was wondering if any of you are familiar with the particular coach? I'm looking for an excellent condition unit. Please feel free to send me a message if you have any information. Thank you and hope you are all off to a great 2015!
Kurt
Is it the one in Garden Valley CA for $144K? On first glance it looks nice but not much to go on. Seems like $144K is a bit higher than I might have expected.
Roger
Roger,
Yes, that is the one. He is down to $120 now.

Check that the end cap was repaired. Other then that, I have nothing else to add other then the normal check it out stuff. 38 foot tag axle 320 s are rare.
I do not know about this coach but I own it's twin. Mine has been a dream coach, a lovely unit. The only problems that I have had have been roof leaks, now all fixed and trouble adjusting the slide topper awning. I, too, think the price is a bit high. I have had the bulkheads checked and no problems found.
Thank you gentlemen! Have a great evening.

That is also my coaches twin (pic of my coach below). Horace, our coaches are only 10 builds apart. The only issue I have had is I had a chaffed hydraulic line leak and lost fluid that powered cooling fan and power steering. Other than that I do all required maintenance and coach has been trouble free. I wonder what the build number is of the CA coach. David
Hello Kurt,
I can't comment specifically on that coach but can say that I paid about 9 grand more than the new asking price for mine back in July 2014.
Similar condition and upgrades as mine although mine has more miles.
I can't tell from the pictures if there is carpeting or tile forward of the kitchen area . If it is the original carpet it may need updating.
They ride with the tag axle is very smooth-now that I had the coach weighed and the tire pressure adjusted accordingly.
You lose some basement storage with the tag and the locations of the house & coach batteries is a poor design--IMO.
Good luck in your search.
Horace & David--my coach is in the middle of the both of yours.

They joined here but weren't active http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?action=profile;u=2445
Several posts from them over on iRV2 regarding their coach, looks like they bought it in July 2013 in Ohio iRV2 Forums (http://www.irv2.com/forums/search.php?searchid=7650498)
I talked to the owner of that coach and have a lot of pics of it if somebody wants to see them I can email them. They are really axcious to sell it. He has dropped price 3 times in last 2 months, It appears to be very clean and had a lot of maintenance done to it in the last year. I think he did a lot of stuff just because he wanted to not because it was broke.
DW just reminded me of another minor problem. Seeing the blogs about air seats reminded her. The Villa seats in the cockpit of our coach were very poorly designed compliments of the dear lady in the interior design seat in those days. They were way too shallow, especially the passenger seat. David Flanigan was able to find us some replacements at a legitimate price.
It is a very comfortable ride and handles like a dream.
You guys are great! Thank you again.
Kurt
Hello all,
Shanna and I finally found a 38' 320 that met our criteria. John posted it on here a couple weeks ago, we jumped on it right away, and I flew out to Florida to bring it home. It's a 2004 with a couple of nice upgrades and we've already put 3,000 trouble free miles on it. Our Country Coach ended up being spoken for before I had a chance to post it for sale so we'll be down to one coach soon :-) We look forward to contributing on this site and I'll be picking your brains on issues I surely will encounter. Thanks for the great site and contributions and we look forward to meeting you on the road.

Congratulations Kurt and Shanna on your new to you coach! Donna and I have an 03, 38' with tag that we couldn't be happier with. Very comfortable and handles like a dream. You are going to love it and if ever in the Houston area, give us a shout.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your coach. Hope to see you down the road sometime

Congratulations on your Coach. Welcome to the Forum, as well. We hope to see you ........down the road, too.

The country coach and the Foretravel are the best coaches IMO. Close behind was old beaver products and vogues.
Welcome to Foreforums! You'll find most of us to be very friendly and helpful. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Thank you all for the warm welcome! We loved our Country Coach and did a lot of work to it. When I was cleaning it up for its new owner, I wondered to myself "why are we selling this?!?" Will be doing a few things to the Foretravel this fall as well.
Welcome to the Foretravel family!
