Title: Where do I find a fuel cap holder?
Post by: ScubaGuy on January 27, 2015, 08:15:26 pm
I've been trying to find a fuel cap holder, but haven't really found one with a solid back so I can glue it to the tank.

I hadn't really thought to look in a while, but I was looking at the new Realm the other day and sure enough it had one.  Unfortunately Foretravel doesn't sell them.

Anyone know where I can find one of these?

Thanks,
Douglas

Do not know if it is the correct size for a FT Fuel Cap.

Accura PN: 74423-SP0-000 is $5 or so dollars, glues on.

Don, I read it as a lot of 95.  Realy, how many do you need?

Put the fuel cap on a chain so you don't lose it.

I think I am going to Velcro my cap and the inside of the fuel door. If I have to use Shoo Goo to secure the Velcro I will try it when we get the coach home this spring.
Great idea of a cap holder tho. I always worried about where to put my cap when filling, just so I wouldn't forget it or have it roll under the coach.

We use a string attached to cap to be sure it does not get misplaced.  We don't use a holder, but the stringed cap can also be used with a holder.
Every cap on our coach has a string attachment.

Doh!!! O:)  I get it now. Ken's suggestion now makes perfect sense! I guess I didn't read that very carefully...
I might just get that lot of 95 and imprint a business card on it and hand them out!

I think I just bought 95 fuel cap holders   I wanted 2, I now have 93 extra.  Christmas presents maybe?  Valentines?  :help:

I'm going to PM Michelle and see if it's ok if I offer some of them for sale, I guess.

You can likely list them on eBay individually or in pairs and sell them to others.

Well... the seller cancelled the auction and refunded my payment.  They only had one lot, not 7, and I bought the second lot.  So I'm out of luck.

So if anyone else knows where to buy two (or more) of these please let me know.

Thanks,
Douglas

Might try a Truckpro or some other truck parts warehouse.
