Sounds like the lens piece fell away from the assembly? You might just try to epoxy it back on. Might be real hard to find a replacement assembly (housing and lenses as a single part). They are from an Isusu Impulse in the mid 1980s - not sure what years. Foretravel has them mounted upside down. Here a related thread: What make / year is my tail light lens? (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=10068.msg45952#msg45952)
1984 Isuzu Impulse
Foretravel had one for my 93 U300. Pretty expensive. All I needed was the interior part because one of the bulb connections had corroded beyond repair. Couldn't buy just that part - had to get the whole thing.
Is this it?
HOLDEN PIAZZA JR - 2DR COUPE 4/86>1988 - LEFT SIDE TAIL LIGHT - KOITO 220-21340 (http://www.autoglasswarehouseandglazing.com.au/shop/holden-piazza-jr-2dr-coupe-486-gt1988-left-side-tail-light-koito-220-21340-50982)
Foretravel used the left side taillight for the right side of the motorhome and the right side for the left side of the motorhome
(Shaking my head...) All the readily-available domestic models they could have selected as a source for the taillights, and Foretravel decided to pick a obscure imported car that probably only sold a few thousand copies in limited markets for a couple years. And then they mount them upside-down! What were they thinking?
