Title: sliding thermostat on dometic fridge
Post by: Horace B. Cupp on May 08, 2015, 12:00:24 pm
I know it's here somewhere but search can't find it!
Which way do I move the sliding thermostat on the evaporator fin to lower the temperature in my Dometic Absorption Fridge? Yes I'm obviously mechanically challenged.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure moving it up make the fridge colder, down make the fridge warmer.  Of course I could have that backwards.  :))

Yup - heat rises, so moving the thermostat probe higher causes it to sense a warmer temp, thus the fridge will try to make things cooler.

Thanks, Michelle, I am sure that you have explained this before but I didn't right it down, I will now.
scubaguy, thank you, also, your guess was correct.

I can tell you it doesn't work well when it lays in the water drain...
