I have read many many posts on products to use on polishing the Aluminum wheels. I have tried many of them and found some better than others. As most would agree when doing by hand it takes a while to achieve a shine. In my case the wheels are not protected by any coating. My wife uses a product called, "Shadazzle". You can find it at a local ACE hardware. Its good on all types of metal. So I tried it on my wheels. It works better than anything I used prior. Cost is about $12.00 a can. It works great on chrome mirrors. Any my wheels will improve with more applications. So try it you might like it.

I am in the process of rehabbing my 1994 U280 and am doing the wheels with a Mothers Powerball and Chemical Guys Heavy Metal Polish Chemical Guys SPI_402_16 - Heavy Metal Polish (16 oz) (http://www.chemicalguys.com/Heavy_Metal_Polish_16_oz_p/spi_402_16.htm ) ....Wheels look brand new!
Karl,
Wow! That's a great looking wheel. Do you have any before pics for comparison? What did you put on the tires. Most everyone here on the forum recommend only 303 Protectant.

Dang! That looks amazing!
Brand new XZE's and 303! I have only done one so far...I will get pictures before I do the others.
Hi Karl,
That sure looks great.

Karl the wheels look great. Mine look similar but I didn't have a power ball. I'll have to get one and try it. My wheels are like yours and the PO didn't take of them. Be careful what you use for tire dressing a lot of tire manf. don't feel a dressing is good for the tire.
The Power Ball sure speeds up the process! I am using 303 Areospace Protectant that many here have recommended. Amazon.com: 303 (30320) Aerospace Protectant, 128 Fl. oz.: Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L4TF32G/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
