Does anyone know the size of the plug needed for the control line on the Haldex dryer on the '01 U320? The nut is 9/16", so I'm guessing a 3/8" plug would fit. I could disconnect it, but am reluctant to do that and possibly cause a leak.
Don't know for sure, but the plugs are fairly inexpensive. I bought a selection of all the common sizes (2 of each) from 3/8" to 1-5/16" for less than $20. Used them for my air dryer and hydraulic pump projects. They are very handy for working on both systems.
You could add a couple smaller sizes to the selection below, and be covered for every eventuality.

Does this help?

Thanks Chuck. Being a fulltimer I was trying to not carry anymore stuff than I have to. I guess I'll make room for a complete set of JIC plugs.
I don't know if your 2001 U320 is the same as my 2003 but the plug that fits mine is 1/4" JIC, # 2408-4
Here are 2 pictures from when I replaced the air dryer a couple of weeks ago.
While I had it out, I used the Emergency by-pass fittings to make sure it all fit.
Hope that helps--Jim
