Title: foretravel repairs in Ind.
Post by: John/Pat on June 10, 2015, 05:40:19 pm
I was wondering if anyone has used or heard of shops in Indiana that have excellent work like FT, MOT, Bern'd and Xtreme?
I have a hard time believing one can only get quality work done in Nacogdoches. Plus I have made 3 trips to Mecca to spend money in repairs and fuel that I would have rather done close to home and traveled somewhere like Grand Tetons or other National parks.

James Stallings of Xtreme made complimentary comments about Precision Painting in Bremen, Indiana, to me when all three of us were at a FMCA rally --http://www.precisionpaintingrv.com/about-us.html

I had a friend get his FT painted there. It was not as good as Xtreme or FOT. They painted the coach and the slide and then put the slide in with it still a bit tacky and it tore the bladder. They stood up and fixed it but it was an error that would not happen in Nac at either place.  I think his paint job ws nice but they did not pull the windows either so you could see around the edges when the rubber shifted a bit.

Otherwise the painting was pretty nice when you just look at the sides.

That is what I thought would be the results, but had to ask any way. Looks like another trip to Mecca. But not this year as I already spent too much at Bern'd.
