For those of you unfortunate enough to need diesel coach service in the Page AZ area, you know there basically aren't any service centers around for hundreds of miles. There is however an excellent mechanic at AZ Welding Equipment named Abe and he's very experienced with all aspects of diesel coach mechanical repairs. He takes care of all the commercial coaches and trucks in the entire Page AZ area. He does truck tires, engine overhauls, air brakes, air conditioning, trailers, boats, and of course welding. He has a lot of parts and tires in stock and can order parts overnight from Phoenix. I just needed someone to service my dash AC but got all sorts of excuses from every other place in town, mostly because they're only familiar with cars, not large coaches. Just as I was about to give up and suffer miserably in the 105 degree heat I went into NAPA for an unrelated part where Leo, the parts dude who loves Detroit Diesel two cycle engines, sent me to Abe. While I was there talking to Abe and looking at all the parts, tires, and fancy shop equipment he had I realized what a valuable resource he is in this vast desert of no diesel mechanics. He got my dash AC going in no time and only charged me $75 per hour and very reasonable parts prices. He loves Foretravel coaches and recognized mine immediately and he really loves Detroit Diesel two cycle engines... so he won me over right away! :) If your coach needs a repair in the Page AZ area do yourself a huge favor and contact Abe at AZ Welding Equipment: (928) 645-9353 ...Save his phone number cuz you'll be up the creek without it if you ever need diesel coach service around Page AZ.
