I am going to have to take my daughters 2007 Nimbus in to service to change one of the air seals around a slide out. My question is this: Am I better off taking it to Foretravel Service or Motorhomes of Texas? I am not asking who will do it cheaper but who will do it better because the workers will have more experience. I really do not want to make the trip to HWH since we are in Florida right now. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Bob
My 2 cents MOT has arguably the best Foretravel Service Foreman and several former Foretravel techs that came over after him.
Hi Bob and Kathy,
You have a third choice for slide seal replacement by the people who designed it:
HWH in Moscow, Iowa
at the eastern edge of Iowa just south of I-80 800-321-3494
I've been there several times... great people to work with.

Either can do the job well. I would see who can get you in and what they would charge. I found it easier to get into MOT.

We had ours done by MOT and were pleased with the experience. They installed the piece that was missing from the original build that likely caused our slide bladder to fail early.
MOT replaced the BR bladder this spring after we discovered a leak. MOT worked us in their schedule promptly. They did a fine job. MOT was recommended by numerous FoFum members. The members have never steered us wrong. ;D
Bob,
I bought our 2007 Nimbus from MOT and subsequently had to have the passenger side bladder for the bedroom replaced. MOT guys did a great job and it has worked flawlessly. Would highly recommend them.
Hope this helps.

Last year, when I thought I needed to have mine replaced, I called FOT and asked where to take it in my area, Southern California. They recommended their warranty provider in the area. They did indeed have experience
, but worked with HWH and found the seal was fine, I just needed a part installed.
I'll bet the factory could recommend a place to take it closer to where it is now.
Thanks everyone for your input. As it stands right now, I will be contacting MOT. Again, thanks for all the input.
Bob
