Here is what I know so far. Turn signals worked fine when I took my coach to local shop for PS pump rebuild. I noticed after I left and started onto interstate that the turn signals were not working. When I got home I checked for Hi Lo beams and the switch works those o.k. then I checked for power to the switch from both flashers. When I put the test light on either side of the connector you can hear the flasher work. This is true on both flashers, and the test light flashes. When checking for power coming from the switch at the connector there is no power.
It would appear to me that the switch may be bad, but I am having a hard time believing that.
My question is...Should the test light flash and the flasher operate when testing for power or could it be a ground issue.
Thanks,
Jerry
Does the hazard flasher switch flash the turn signal lights?
Make sure your emergency flasher button is not on and pushed all the way in.
Peter the flashers do not work either.
Barry no change with the flasher switch in or out.
Thanks
Jerry
Problem solved. I found the switch unplugged.
Now, if anyone can tell me why that would be. LOL.
Thanks again to a great group of folks.
Jerry
Howdy Jerry, Glad you got it going!! Maybe I missed it but, what switch was unplugged?

Dave,
The turn signal switch was unplugged, not totally, but enough. I guess they pulled up on the column to much. I plan on calling to discuss how it might have happened. There really was no reason to move the column that much to pull the steering gear.

Howdy Jerry,
I'm really glad you got it going!! I'll file that away on the turn signal switch plug. Things like that can drive you crazy..

If they removed the steering box they probably had to un-bolt the steering column to release it from the steering box.
Its heavy and awkward when unsecured, I can see how the turn signal wire could have been pulled on and separated.
Hi Lon,
That may be what happened. I had no problem when I took it loose to replace the top seals about 2 months ago. They are not use to dealing with the column since it is not required on big trucks.
Jerry
Dave, I would begin to be careful about adding this to your list of things to worry about. I know yours is like mine- much too heavy as it is. ;D
We have a few days at Idaho state parks before getting to Boise this weekend.
Best to you and Nancy

Howdy Elliot, LOL, yeah, the turn signals wasn't even on my radar!! That worry list gets longer everyday!! I think I'll check my stock of 12 year old single malt!!
We just left Boise a couple of weeks ago. Love Boise, a great town. You guys have fun!!
Safe travels, ttyl, Dave and Nancy A
