The rubber strip above our slide room has disintegrated, it's about 2" wide and seems to be wedged into a slot above the slide room .
What's it called and what is it function ?
Cost ?
Thanks
It's sometimes called a slide sweep and I believe its purpose is to sweep away dirt, debris, and moisture from the top of the slide when you bring the slide in. Not sure on cost.
Ah
Will call Foretravel tomorrow, I now know what to order .
Thanks
It was about $13/ft in January. Check at MOT as well. Roger
Black. They didn't say there were color choices. The old one was black turned to gray.
Replaced both of ours last year. Got from FOT available in white or black. ;D
I was told only black is available now.
We replace our black ones with white.
Funny, I had to replace my white one with Black.
MOT replaced my white with black, all they had available. It's a slide squeegee.
Is it just pull old one out and slide new one in or is there a special tool /technique
Nope, just yank the old out and slide new one through the channel.....pretty simple! I don't rally remember there was a screw that locks it in. You won't have any problems.
Thanks guys , received the new black one today , sprinkled it with baby powder to help ease it along the track .
