Title: Rubber strip above slides
Post by: Jimmyjnr on July 13, 2015, 09:59:13 pm
The rubber strip above our slide room has disintegrated, it's about 2" wide and seems to be wedged into a slot above the slide room .
What's it called and what is it function ?
Cost ?
Thanks

It's sometimes called a slide sweep and I believe its purpose is to sweep away dirt, debris, and moisture from the top of the slide when you bring the slide in.  Not sure on cost.

It was about $13/ft in January.  Check at MOT as well.  Roger

Black. They didn't say there were color choices.  The old one was black turned to gray.

Nope, just yank the old out and slide new one through the channel.....pretty simple! I don't rally remember there was a screw that locks it in. You won't have any problems.
