We are still 3 years out from changing coaches when finances will line up. There is a 40' single slide Phenix for sale at FOT right now that seems like a coach we would be interested in if the timing was right.
Just from curiosity, if you are already at FOT and walked through this coach, or can walk through it, what is your opinion with upsides and downsides? Also wondering if the north south bed lifts up on props for full access to top end of the Cummins ISX engine. I think we would prefer a Queen over a king since no bedroom slides - more walk around room. Is it enough room to walk around the sides of the king bed?
Note: We don't want over a 40' coach, and don't want a 4 slide coach.
If someone on the forums buys this coach we'd like to read your reports over the first months.

Thanks,
I looked at this coach a month ago with a friend. With the king bed, movement is extremely tight. I am not saying it's impossible but you literally slide your legs between the bed and sidewall. There were a few cosmetic flaws. Overall, the coach presents well, but looking at pricing guides, the coach is still way overpriced. If I remember correctly, the tires and batteries are 2012 dates. I think, the current owner has only owned it a year. Not really sure why they are selling.
We also looked at this coach. We considered on making an offer but decided against it. The King bed was the major negative factor along with the cosmetic brown stains all along the front and the rippled sides of the coach. The price is too high in my opinion, and our experience with FT sales was not good.
Water hose is coiled up instead of being retracted - electric reel must be inoperative.
Ought to be fairly simple to switch to a queen mattress, unless the platform is also "king sized".
I did ask about the queen bed conversion and FT told me a new queen foundation would need to be built. That of course would lead to other issues; electrical, etc.
Jumping and crawling around to get into bed would be a real drag, IMHO.
