Hey Ya'll
Many of you are familiar with this company.. they did tow my grand villa back in May... and it was a fiasco.. took them forever to get a wrecker out to me..
I have the premium plus, tow anywhere policy for up to 100 miles... I am supposed to be covered
with my personal vehicle also... thought I remembered one of you saying you just called your own wrecker and sent them the bill.. I called a wrecker my self.. about a 20 mile tow to my house, cost me 150.00 I was home in 45 minutes !!!!
based on my experience, it would have been hours perhaps with sams and I wasn't feeling real good that day.
Do I just mail them the original receipt from the wrecker service or send them a copy of it? I'm not too sure they will reimburse... since I called a wrecker on my own.. anybody got any input on this?
And where do I send it to? all I see are phone numbers to call
Thanks
Mark
Mark, I am the one who sent them a $1100 tow bill 2 months after the fact and GS did not call for it, so yes it did work for me. On their website there is the Roadside Assistance section and a form that you can download to fill in for cases like this. I did that then scanned it and sent it in. It takes about 2-3 weeks before they get back to you but as your bill is so small I am sure they will have no trouble. You do need to say why and what happened and a copy of the tow bill. I would suggest that you do not mention that it was in a storage bay but parked and you wanted to get it home to fix whatever problem was causing it to not run. They do not want a long story just a quick explanation.
Good luck

Thanks John,
Yah.. the Grand Villa was the storage thing.. that's done with..
Yep, yours is the one I recall reading about.. :)
I had to have my Van towed last week.
Thanks.. I'll try to find this form your speaking of...
Mark
Mark,
The only issue I see is that your claim so closely follows buying the policy. If it were me, I'd just eat the $150. Good luck.
If you have insurance then use it. Call customer service and ask for them to send you a claim form. Fill it out and give them the explanation as to the event. I did and I got paid for my tow when they refused to tow my FT after I refused their tech who was 3 hours to get there. If your policy is in force then I would make a claim. Thats why you pay for insurance.
Sorry Mark, I thought you were referencing the GV.
The form is on their web as I said and you have nothing to loose by trying.

Thanks John, I don't have my info to sign in.. but your link brought up the form for me..!!
I see they are requesting the original receipt.. no problem, I guess I'll just make a copy of it for my records..
I sent a copy of mine via email with form so a copy should do.
