Title: HWH
Post by: jor on July 24, 2015, 03:40:52 pm
We were heading for the FMCA rally in Madison so I thought I would take a shot at getting an appointment at HWH. Called them on Monday and got an appointment for Friday. Fixed a couple of minor air leaks (front pressure switches) and located several more that they did not fix (not HWH equipment). This coach drops on the right rear after four or five days in level. We'll see if this fix addressed it. At least I know where the other leaks are and can repair them myself should the spirit move me to do so. Anyhow, if you're in HWH's area you might be able to get an appointment with short notice.

Here's a couple more photos of a FT on the rack! Can't beat the view under the lift. Sure beats laying on your back.

Glad to hear that you got in for service so quickly. However, my experience is the exact opposite, made appointment that took 3 weeks and basically got the brush off because another FT was on the lift. And I could not wait till it was done. As it was I waited 3 hours to be told sorry.

We are presently in Jackson, WY. and would like to make the diversion to HWH when I leave here - maybe in a couple of weeks or less - then on to Houston.  Have heard great things about their shop and would like to shake the hand of our main squeeze there Randy.  He has helped us many times.  I would like them to go over our stuff and repair/replace what they can.  ;D

We have an appointment in the morning to have ours checked out.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
There is another U320 in the Hunt's Cedar River Camp Ground tonight for the same reason.  I hope it goes well--- will report back after the appointment.
We are 3000 miles into a 4000 mile trip and on our way back to Houston.

Decided not to make the 800 mile diversion and bypass HWH.

jor, I called Jo Ann over to look at the pictures. Her first comment was the same as my first thought: that looks like our coach. We spent a night on that rack because they weren't quite done.

Since we were putting together a trip we made our appointment several weeks in advance, so we were able to get our preferred date and time. Good thing, too, since it took them far longer than they expected. They actually had to build a couple of parts for us.

We've already booked an appointment for Sept. 18.
