Getting time to upgrade and have been researching this forum quite abit. There are a number of older well maintained coaches on this forum and wonder when purchasing an older unit, have any had to replace any of the holding tanks due to age or material breakdown. Tried the search feature and did not find anything, apologies if it is there and I did not find. Thanks for any input you all may have.
I have not heard of any of them failing due to age.
I remember somebody had to pull one of the tanks completely out of the coach to repair a crack, and finally ended up replacing it when the repair didn't hold? Was it jor?
Thank you for the replies. I had read that in some motorhomes the material degraded in some older units. Did not know how valid that was, but thought might not be the case with these higher end units.
Yea, that was me. I now have a 56 gallon black tank on this rig. The problem was not age but accidental impact with the tank, I believe. I haven't heard about anyone else having this problem.
