Title: Basement lights problem
Post by: BamaFan on July 31, 2015, 09:28:05 pm
The basement lights in my coach seem to be divided into two circuits, but I can't find the breaker or fuse for the circuit in the utility bay (DS5) and the water manifold bay (PS4). That circuit is dead. I found the breaker behind the fiberglass panel in the bay forward of the fuel bay, but I don't know which lights are controlled by it. I am about ready to combine both circuits on the single breaker.  Are the basement lights on two separate circuits? How can I trip those breakers? The little black button doesn't trip the breaker.

Double check the factory installed switches on the bay doors.  They become unreliable after a while.  Push the in by hand and release a few times. Roger

Hate to point out the obvious but you are aware that there is a switch on the unit itself. I keep that switch turned off because 90% of my openings are in daylight.

To elaborate, I am trying to restore some wiring that a PO screwed up with a TV in the front bay. The lights in that bay are dead as well as the ones in the two rear bays. The lights in the rear bays worked until a couple days ago and I am trying to figure out what happened to them too. Since I can find only one breaker labeled Stor Lights, I have to assume that all lights were on the same circuit.

Yes, check your electrical diagram.  All bay lights are on one circuit.
