Hello guys,
I searched but couldn't finda ny similar posts. On our cabinet doors one after another an interior plastic piece is breaking out which causes the doors to either want to slam shut without holding open or have no real closing force at all.
Anyone know what these are or where we would get them or do we have to just get new hinges. I know these are pretty standard looking euro hinges like ikea uses.
I think they're Blum hinges for overlay doors. Some are less than 90° sone are more. Not sure wht you need. Sometimes the best way to find out is to order one from FT and see what you get. Should have name and part numbers on the package. Mif not you have something to go to HD or Lowes or Rockler or the Woodworkers Store to compare. But looking at Blums current offering I don't see anything like the hinges on my 2001.

Blum has replaced hinges for free every time we've asked. Most blum hinges have a part number on them, models we use have it in the cup.
If you call Blum, they will probably send you new plastic inserts, no questions ask. They did for my sister.

Update--I just called and they are sending 3 new hinges for her.
