Title: HWH issue--driver's rear jack won't go down.
Post by: nitehawk on August 15, 2015, 01:59:57 pm
On our '89 GV the driver's rear jack goes vertical but that's it. It does not extend to the ground.
Which valve is it up front? As I stand in front of the coach and look in at the four valves & solenoids? The schematics I have aren't too clear as to which is front or rear while standing up front.
The pump runs for quite awhile as if there is an open valve. The reservoir tank is full (within 1" of top)
I emailed HWH about a month ago but no reply.

Can't tell you which T handle goes to what, but make sure they are all tight/screwed in, or they will not pressurize the jacks.

and make sure each jack ground wire is firmly attached. 1 to each jack.

Do the other Jacks extend? If so then it's a solenoid problem, have someone flip the paddle switch while you are under the front looking and listening for that solenoid to open.  No click then it's electricial in which case jumper from a 12v source to the + side of the solenoid coil and see if it clicks, if not replace.
