Title: Kudos to Filter Barn
Post by: Bob McGee on August 17, 2015, 08:03:46 pm
I ordered a Fleetguard AF1838 engine air filter from Filter Barn over a year ago for spare. When I finally decided to install it, I opened the box only to find the seal missing from the small end. Called FB and they sent me a new one without charge and without sending the incomplete one back.  Nice to deal with people like that.

I may purchase a full set of fuel injectors from them soon so it's nice to read this. :)

I wonder if there is any relationship between the Ebay parts supply and the on line filter barn store. The online, not eBay sells only filters.

I'm confused.  Does Filter Barn sell on Ebay?  I thought they only sell filters, not injectors.

I don't know if the on line filter barn store and the e-bay filter barn store are associated with one another. The online filter barn store sells only filters from what I can see. The e-bay filter barn store does not sell filters but do sell all kinds of injectors. They are two different sites don't know if they are two different entities.

I was changing generator filters yesterday with filters purchased from Filter Barn.  The air filter was wrong.  It turned out their cross reference guide was wrong.  The are happily sending me a new filter and told me to toss the old one.  I guess I'll bring it to the Grandvention and see if anyone can use it.

I bought a filter housing from them on Ebay and a bit later, some filters from their website. All arrived in the same box.
