My exhaust pipe is very rusted even to the point the chrome tip has fallen off. Looking up under the coach I can see that the 1 1/2 pipe with elbow is intact. I attempted to remove the pipe but it crushed it. I the attempted to remove the 90 and it is VERY tight soaking with lithification wrench has not done a thing. Suggestions? Thanks in advance. David

I just replaced my AquaHot exhaust pipe, but was lucky. The black pipe elbow turned fairly easily and the nipple came with it. I replace the old exhaust pipe with 2" stainless and per his suggestion, left off the muffler.
ETA: Should have said to remove the burner and combustion chamber to get the penetrating oil on the exhaust pipe nipple.

As Bob shared, replace with 2 inch pipe, as short a run as possible, no muffler and no down turned exhaust tip. It is best to let the exhaust blow straight out away from the coach. Exhaust should not be under a slide which is the way Foretravel installed it originally.
The very best penetrating oil by far is half acetone and half transmission fluid. Next is CorrosionX and then the penetrants at the supply stores. Something is sure better than nothing. Soaking over night helps. The whole lot longer the handle on your wrench the better.
Yes, you may have to use a very long breaker bar to loosen the elbow.
We are currently camping. I will pull burner and put the concoction down and soak for the night. I will keep you posted. David
