Title: Peak Final Charge Global coolant
Post by: Rick on September 11, 2015, 11:06:58 am
Does anyone have experience with this coolant?
FAQ - Final Charge | PEAKhd.com (http://www.peakhd.com/product-lines/final-charge/faq/)
The claim for changing over (if already using an OAT coolant) to it is to just add it when needed.

One interesting comment in the FAQ's is that the "heavy duty industry is moving to nitrate free OAT coolants." yet they offer a product called "Final Charge NOAT"  PEAK Commercial & Industrial | PEAKhd.com (http://www.peakhd.com/product-lines/final-charge/noat-extended-life-coolant-antifreeze/) that is a nitrated OAT.

Comments appreciated.

Matt,
Thanks for the link. After a Google search I did look at several articles but was looking for info from people here and I did not see that discussion. More curiosity than anything. Looks like I'll stick with the CAT ELC I have been using and do the coolant analysis as I have always done.

Cat ELC would be my choice. Its one of the finest coolants made.
