Title: Charging criteria for O'Reilly Super Start AGM 8D batteries
Post by: Jon H on September 14, 2015, 04:01:34 pm
Recently replaced my coach batteries with a new pair of O'Reilly Super Start AGM 8D's.  Couldn't find any charging data on the O'Reilly website so I contacted East Penn / Deka and requested info.

East Penn's response is attached

So it sounds like East Penn officially admits to supplying O'Reilly with the AGM8D batteries. Not that I needed to hear that from them to know that it's true... ^.^d

A (new) computer controlled charger ended my worry's.
The one I bought, treats my (new) AGMs like a typical wet cell.
I pull the negative cable(s) off for storage,
give them a charge and walk away..  pc
