Hello 1993 U300 how do you fill the water tank? Also, what is the valve for under the coach by the right side of the utilities door?
Thanks.
That should be the low point moisture drain on you air system "wet" tank.

First turn off the water pump. There is a valve in the base of the bathroom vanity, pull that valve handle toward you. Connect a hose to a water supply. In the water closet on the street side of the coach you will find a water connection connect the other end of your house to that point. Turn on the water supply. This will fill your tank. Make certain you do not overfill, watch the audit monitor on the dash. I do not usually go over 75%. Once the tank is full reverse the procedure.

That is how mine works as well except I do fill my tank until it's full. I camp using my tank and water pump instead of connecting to shore water and using their pressure. I learned that here on the forum. It's less to hook up and reduces the chance of a flood if something breaks while we are away from the coach. I filter the water as it flows into the tank.
Jeff,
What do you use?
Thanks,
Trent
I use one of these
TastePURE KDF/Carbon Water Filter - Camco 40043 - Water Filtration - Camping... (http://m.campingworld.com/shopping/item/tastepure-kdf-carbon-water-filter/18478)
Make sure to run water through it before hooking to RV black carbon will come out at first.
Not sure why some people say do not overfill. I think it's because some might believe this results in bulkhead problems due to the overflow hose letting water run into the bulkhead channel. So does driving in the rain and snow but they do it anyway. In fact that would cause more water than the overflow ever would. Some say it's the added weight. In a motorhome that weighs 30,000 lbs. does 800 lbs really mean much? Some have even moved the overflow hose routing. I don't see the point.
I have always filled mine until it runs out the overflow. Then run off the pump until it's dry like Jeff and Sandy do. Also keeps the fresh water tank clean. My motorhome doesn't go anywhere without a full tank of water.
Where is the overflow drain for the water tank located? On my other coach it drained under the coach when it was full.
