Just removed the black tank sensor and it looks like there is cotton inside. TP residue? I'll take a pic and attach. After spraying the inside the gauge appears to be working correctly. Before always showed an eighth of a tank. Sensor cleaner would work but we have been here for a while. Need to get her out on the road......
Updated - pic attached. Does not appear to be TP related - Looks fibrous. I didn't want to remove so sprayed it with water, reinserted in waste line and it works - gives full black water levels. ???
Here are mine. I just put plugs in their place.
I thought mine would be all crapped up but they looked rather clean. Certainly not what I expected. I just sprayed water on them and re inserted. They work fine. :D
What a difference a year makes... 😃
Roger - looking at your pic again your sensors appear to be brass. Mine are black plastic. ???
Our originals had brass fittings; more recent replacements are black plastic fittings. The sensor itself is a pressure transducer circuit board potted inside the housing. It's just a packaging difference.
Michelle - Do you know who makes it and it's part no.?
I think I stiil have mine, if so, do you want them? Might be hazardous to send them in the mail.
Thanks Roger, I think I'll pass. ;-D
Here's what a new one looks like.
Dick
Thanks Dick. :D
