Where can I order the little "Klixon" thermostat switch for my water heater? Mine takes the smaller size .6" diameter switch that's normally closed but opens at about 140 degrees Fahrenheit. I ordered one from the internet a while ago and it was the larger diameter switch which didn't fit my water heater. My water heater doesn't take the two switches mounted on a sheet metal plate together like the newer water heaters have. One switch is the operating limit and the other is the high limit. My water heater has separate little switches for operating and high limit. I checked Atwood's website and called them but they don't seem to know where I can get one except at their authorized dealers. The only dealers I'm ever near don't keep parts in stock. I even checked some HVAC / industrial suppliers but couldn't find the right switch. If the switch opens at a temperature a little higher than 140 degrees that would be good.

I suggest you check with FOT. I'm usually surprised at the items they have in stock. I've also found their prices are often better than other sources.
