I just wanted to take a moment to say hello and introduce myself. I am new to this forum and new to Foretravel, so new in fact that I am still parked in the Foretravel campground in Nacogdoches. I just purchased a 2008 Nimbus and look forward to getting out on the road soon.
Thanks,
Greg
welcome to Forum. There is much to learn but all the help you need is out here just waiting. Suggest you spend as much time as possible reading all the info in your manuals and before leaving Nac make sure you have asked every question you can think of and make many notes of answers.
Good luck and safe driving.

Hi Greg,
Welcome both to the Forum and to the Motorcade Club.
I would strongly encourage you to take advantage of your first year free membership in the Motorcade Club. Attend some area rallies and better yet go on a motorcade. You'll be glad you did.
Welcome, you will find as much friendship and experiences as you would like here to supplement your Foretravel lifestyle for many years ^.^d
Hi Greg,
Congratulations on your purchase. You will enjoy this forum. A great group of people always ready and willing to help.
Jerry
Welcome Greg.
It's always good to meet a new Foretravel owner. It means we are still growing. You will learn a lot from this forum. Please ask all you want. There are no questions that should be left unasked.
Also, check out Barry Brideau's web site for a significant amount of Foretravel information, technical, historical, etc.

Welcome Greg. FT ownership comes with many friends and support.
Enjoy.

Welcome to the Foretravel "family" and welcome to Foreforums. We hope you'll enjoy your coach as much as we have enjoyed ours, and we're sure you'll find loads of useful information here. Hope to meet face-to-face at some point in the future!
Welcome to the FT family. There is loads of information here.
Hi Greg,
Welcome to fortravel. I am accross from you at the NAC campground in a 98 u270. Great people here.
Rick
That's great, I will be there thru Sunday, maybe we will get a chance to say hello!
Enjoy Greg.. We are from Arkansas as well.. Near Hope.
Welcome,
Post some photos too! We all like baby pictures.
Best of Travels.
Welcome Greg, you found the best place with the best folks to help with this journey that you are now on! Looking forward to meeting you down the road.
Welcome, Greg, and good choice ... Foretravel that is. Great forum too.
Hang out at FoT long enough to get all the stuff done that needs to be done. They're great folks at FoT and will do all they can to make sure you're a happy camper.
That's great, came thru there earlier this week. I noticed an RV Park along the interstate in that general area, is the the best place to stay in that area when passing thru?
Thanks,
Greg
Thanks Doug, they have been great! Paul, Jackie and the entire service team!
Welcome Greg
This is the beginning of lots of fun and adventure in your coach. Lots of information and friends on the forum so don't be shy about asking questions.
Hope to see you down the road
Hi Greg,
Welcome to the Foretravel family.
Raymond
Greg,
We're at FT also with the SSR out front. Unfortunately we'll be leaving in the am for a quick trip to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. Make sure to introduce yourself around the campground.
Welcome! There is NO such thing as a dumb question ... ALL of us have made every boneheaded mistake that you can think of (that is why we all sound so smart now) ... This is the only group of people who will listen to you talk about your Foretravel endlessly and never get tired of the subject (when you try that with your other friends, their eyes glaze over) ... If you have a problem and post it here while you are waiting for the Emergency Roadside Service to arrive, you will have three good possibilities for a fix by the time the guy gets there. There is always something interesting to read here, and we have made more friends within this group than we ever did living in a neighborhood. Some folks we knew for a few years before ever meeting them in the flesh!! Have fun with some Motorcade trips ... find some others "down the road" ... and enjoy Nacogdoches. It truly is a lovely town!!
Greg, a warm welcome to the FT family, a great place to be! Use the search box on the forum home page, there's very little you can't find here when it comes to these fabulous coaches, the best made on the planet...you're in the right place, congratulations to you & be sure post a picture of your "new baby" when you get a chance.
Welcome Greg.
Welcome to the best forum. No other MH has information and support system that is provided here.
You will see opinions and some very valuable advice here that can't be found in any book or manual. On our voyage home with our new (to us) coach we pulled into a rest stop and couldn't get the Alison back into gear. Turns out a small piece of carpet was holding the foot pedal up and raising the rpm just enough that the trans safely couldn't go into gear. The answer came within minuets from this forum. EVERYTHING that you need to know about these coaches is here.
And just a great group of folks providing it.
Safe travels to you and your family.
I have had a couple request for pictures, so here is my first attempt at posting images.
Thanks again for all of the welcomes!
Greg

Greg, Now that is a beautiful coach 8)
Enjoy!
Greg
Wow.
Love the tan over brown. Warm to look at and cool in summer heat. Beautiful.
Welcome Greg, Beautiful coach. I used to visit Jonesboro regularly back in the day. I was stationed at Blytheville AFB back in the early '70s and would fly my little Globe Swift there to visit the big city.
Greg... There is a KOA I think it is at exit 7 just east of Texarkana.. Near the Flying J truck stop on I 30.
Thank you! I was sad to see that AFB close!
Pretty sure that's Sunrise RV park - used to be a KOA but hasn't been for years. OK for an overnight but noisy due to highway and train.
In Benton area headed eastbound I-30 Travel Park is also very convenient for an overnight (slightly convoluted to get to westbound).
We stay at the fairgrounds when in Texarkana.
Niiice! Love it!
Best of Travels
Hi Greg, welcome to our community. If you want help finding campgrounds of all sorts get the Allstays Camp and RV app for your mobile device (phone, ipad etc). it is $10 but its a great tool for finding places. Well worth the cost. We especially like city and county parks and Army Corp of Engineers Parks.
We usually stay at the Wright Pattman Corps of Engineer campground just west of Texarkana when going from Texas through Arkansas from NAC. I like the Rocky Point leg of the park.
Congratulations on the new adventure!!
Welcome! Beautiful coach.
