I am looking for information from anyone that may have been at MOT recently. There are three coaches I am interested in. I realize that I can contact a salesman but I would first prefer the opinion of someone that is also looking to buy. I would like an opinion on the coaches before I make plans to travel to TX. The three I am looking for info on are:
1. 1997 U270, 36', #C1801
2. 1996 U295, 36', #C1828
3. 1999 U270, 36', #P1217A

Tom, I am in Nac now and actually was at MOT this afternoon, looked at a couple on outside only. I will have time tomorrow to look for you but will only give you MY impression of value and no actual repair or not needed info if you understand ??

Keep in mind the main differences between those three. The older two are mechanical engines, the 99 is electronic. It also has the nice steering wheel.
The oldest is non ducted AC, the other two are ducted. and the 1997 still has CRT tvs, and its floorplan is quite a bit different than the 96 and 99. I believe the 99 is the only one with dual pane windows.
That 96 is awesome. I love the front mounted kubota genset. I'm not a fan of the Isuzu, after hearing both run side by side.

Tom, Jackie and I looked at a couple of coaches. We have found one that should be a great value and I will send you a pm on the particulars. It seems perfect for someone starting out, and as far as a quick look, nothing to be done on it though I did not drive it.
I would not hesitate to give serious and sooner than later consideration to C1839.

Tom. the 96 295 has a pending offer on
C1801 is not bad and has Oak interior and ceramic floor in Kitchen and bathroom. Window seal gone in door and a few blinds need to be cleaned and fixed. Tires are 1710 so 17th week of 2010. 2 head lites smashed/missing Decals are not great so not too bad if a good price.
