Anyone have a crossover number for an OSRAM 12V 2W W4U lamp as used to illuminate the analog voltmeter in a 1995 U300 ?
Thanks
Jon,
Bumping your question up, cuz you're not getting any response. Would it be possible for you to post a close-up photo of the bulb, along with size (length and width). I'm wondering if it is the same as some little "peanut" bulbs I carry in my "spare parts" box.
Is this it
Osram 3796 [%url]http://www.lampline.com/3796-osram-54-p[/url%].94 - 33197 12V 2W Mini SC Bay (BA9s) Clear (http://www.lampline.com/3796-osram-54-p)
Hi All,
Thanks for the responses. The analog voltmeter (which I'm sure is original) was mfg. by VDO. The O.A.L of the bulb is .821" and the diameter is .271 (base) and extreme OD (across the lugs/pins) is .333". Picture attached.
Jon,
Can you read the numbers stamped into the base of the bulb-- generally give bulb number and watts?
From the photo Jon posted, it should be A VDO 600 802, I have found no cross over for this bulb.
BINGO - Bill has nailed it down!
No cross over listed, but this bulb is available from a number of online (and local) stores. Just Google VDO 600 802.
Thanks to all who responded ;D ;D ;D Available from my local O'Reilly's. Can't beat this Forum.
