Title: Nationwide search aggregator
Post by: prfleming on November 30, 2015, 05:55:13 pm
Ran across this nationwide craigslist and ebay search aggregator - in order by date posted and it takes you directly to the original ads without any hassle.  Might be useful to someone currently looking for a Foretravel. A lot of these fly under the radar and easily get overlooked. Search every day to get first chance at the latest listings.

I use a similar search. I looked at a FT this last weekend. The 1989 U240 (http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/rvs/5332453811.html) in San Diego is a nice coach. 530W solar nicely done, 4 airbags (not Torsalistic) and HWH levelers. Took her for a drive, and it runs great. Owner is selling for health reasons.  If anyone wants to know more specifics, PM me.

I used ZoomTheList (http://zoomthelist.com/index.php?q=foretravel&state-search-all=ALL&date-range=ALL&u=Search), but I think I will change to the one above from now on.

Yes, several good search engines, and lots of used Foretravels...when I see the prices I think maybe I should put the old girl up for sale...but then I would lose all the work and upgrades and have to start over again...hmmm, that might be fun... ^.^d

Regarding: 36 foot RV Motorhome Grand Villa - Foretravel (http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/rvs/5332453811.html)
I can imagine somebody adding airbags to the Torsalistic suspension, but this would be the first U240 that I have ever heard of that was not Torsalistic. It does however, look like a nice well taken care of coach at first glance.

At second glance, I don't think this is a Unihome. Are you sure that it isn't an ORED? I don't think Foretravel made U240's in 89'

4 airbags (not Torsalistic) and HWH levelers.

I stand corrected, Model says ORED. BUT, did a good look underneath and it's fully supported by 4 airbags. Looks like it was a mod.

The two listed craiglist searchers use google...as does searchtempest if you use the combined results mode. The separate mode actually uses the local craigslist page.

Most people are asking too much. The best deal I found (and missed) was a 1999 or 2000 u320 in great shape for 47k.

I LOVE Craigslist. I've bought & sold numerous vehicles there.
My wife says I change cars like some women change shoes. I tell her, it could be worse, it could be women. >:D

Found my 2000 U270- 40 on CL, found a buddy a '99 U320-36

Thank You CL - Happy Trails Ric
