Title: Freezer door handle

I am looking for a freezer door handle for a Dometic Refrigerator/Freezer Model RM 1282. We have a 2001 Foretravel U 320 and need this handle.  Dometic no longer has any of these.

Check with any large RV dealership/service facility.  There are usually a collection of take out absorption refrigerators in back.  Ask of you can "raid one".

I have a similar problem on my 95 and I keep looking on ebay and hope to see one someday.

I need 2 photos of the door handle, I know the junk man that pick's the scrap of 2 repair shops in Tampa.

Check with FOT. The have some parts for Dometic, some parts for Splendide, some parts for Atwood, etc.

I bought a handle for Dometic NDR1062 (1997 model) at FOT today. I preferred black, but they only had tan. It will work.

I have a 1282 that I just took out of my '99. Send me a PM with your address and I will get it out to you. My fridge handle cracked, which I epoxied, and has held.

Anybody need any other parts before I dispose of it?
