Title: Remco unit under dash with red and green light
Post by: Michelle on December 12, 2015, 08:30:17 pm
It is next to some device named Remco. I know of their driveline disconnects but what would have a switch and a red and green light on it under the cash next to this plug on the coach I still have to find out.

A quick Google of Remco red green light brought up display for Remco lube pump unit

REMCO - iRV2 Forums (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f101/remco-119044.html)

Note post #5 - lights there to let you know if there's a problem with the lube pump in the toad.

We encourage folks to post take-off items as "Forum Freecycle" items in the classifieds - you never know who might want something for the cost of shipping....  We have freecycled bay door handles, our previous mudflap, and a few other things to others and received puck light reflectors for a project and some priceless TurboTurd toilet parts among other things.

That is what I will do. I will get some pics of it and put it on the forum.

As an owner of a Remco pump, the switch you are describing is very old. Remo has upgraded this switch several times into a much newer version. To me, I would chuck the unit in the trash since it has little to no value.

One man's trash, another's treasure  ;)  It's at least worth asking if someone could use it (for the cost of shipping) before throwing it out.  There are a number of "old, outdated" things that have been Freecycled on the forum.
