I was in the process of replacing the rear TV in my 1999 U-320 when I discovered this Intellitec Radio Switch Monoplex mounted (hidden) inside the cavity beneath the TV. I googled and found where I could buy such an item and that they were often used in RV's. But there was not an explanation as to exactly what it is or does. I searched the Forum and found two references to this switch, one about a year and a half ago and the other eight years ago. Both references seemed to deal with the water pump and latching relays.
I was unable to follow where the wires lead from this item.
My question is, what is this little black box, what does it do and maybe why is it located where it is.
Thanks
My guess would be it is the latching relay for the light by the shower which can be turned on by two different switches.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Beamalarm has a Foretravel bulletin that says it is used for water pump and or water fill solenoid.
Water Pump Relay Replacement (http://www.beamalarm.com/Documents/water_pump_relay_replacement.html)
I found the same switch when I was tracing the ir system. I will look at my schematic and post what it is going to.
Looking at the schematic where the device is says to refer to drawing B-2178 which I don't have.
The mystery of the little black box is solved. It is the relay which allows for the two way switching of the overhead hallway light.
Jerrett, reply #1, above, is the winner!
Congratulations!

As a point of info, on my 98 model, Foretravel was using a different relay to do the 2 way switchng. Mine failed this past summer, and with the help of Mike Rash during a quick phone call, learned to ask for a 72 VW headlight relay. When I did, there it was, after all counter searches had failed at the parts store.
