Title: Water Pump (coach not engine)
Post by: Retired Navy Chief on December 28, 2015, 11:29:33 am
Our water pump is starting to short cycle.  I have totally segregated it from the manifold and it continues telling me the regulator is going.  What pump have you used?  This pump has been very noisy since I purchased the coach and would like a quieter one this time.  Thanks in advance. Have a Happy and Safe New Year.  David

Our 03 original equipment pump was an Aquajet. I replaced it several years ago with a Remco Aquajet, appears Remco bought out Aquajet. It's a variable speed pump and we're happy with it. Look around for the best price.

Have you tried" searching " for water pumps using the search function? There lots of posts about that.

My water pump started leaking a few weeks ago. Had a new (expensive) spare Surflo 5.7 GPM pump, so put it in and the pressure switch didn't work.  Said to heck with it and got a good Chinese made pump from Amazon. Spent the past weekend with it, nice & quiet, plenty of pressure and volume.

When our pump died we replaced it with Shurflow 4008- quiet, works fine so far.  We full time and use water from the tank all the time, so we give it a good work out.

Best of luck getting yours fixed/replaced.
