Title: Aquahot Repair Recommendation
Post by: debnmike on December 30, 2015, 04:16:25 pm
Need Aquahot Repair? We highly recommend Rudy Leggett. Rudy is Aquahot knowlegable, honest to a fault, a Foretravel owner, and a Foreforums Commercial member.  Our AH quit the day before yesterday. We called Rudy and he walked us through some diagnostics over the phone, but it became apparent that our AH needed repair.  Rudy agreed to work us in, and we made the 5 hour drive to Houston from Dallas that day.
Yesterday morning Rudy figured out and fixed the problem the old fashioned way.  It seems that an important motor bearing had locked up. This locking up caused the blue fuse "down there" to blow, and the diesel light to go out within 30 seconds.  This is my non-mechanical explanation anyway...

Thank you for the kind comments.

Seized bearings on the blower shaft were the culprit.  New ones made it spin like a top.  Motor, fuel pump and other components are working fine.

Plus I got to visit with Buddy and sweet Sophie.
