In our 92 we have the tub shower.it can be a pain stepping in. I noticed in the newer u300 that they have the lower step in. Does anybody think it could be.changed? Or has anyone made the swap.
We have the same setup. Stepping in or out with slippery feet can be a challenge. The showers I've seen in later coach's don't have the same real estate as the tub/shower combo. If I could find a shower pan with the same footprint as the tub I'd switch out in a minute. Let me know if come up with anything.

I would think it actually is a standard shape/size so may be available in a decent plumbing store. They make many sizes and newer ones would be acrylic (Ithink the old ones FT used are fibreglass) so would be much better IMHO

Thanks guys, my concern is where the water that supplies the shower or the crapper runs along the wall.I guess I should call the boys at Mot and see what the have to say.
I'd remove, gut to the studs, do a plastic layering (heavy shower pan liner all the way up to walls) then install Backer board, seal the backer board twice with liquid red (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG5GIqcYkSs) (water proof) and then pick your tile, high quality vinyl be best i think. One other thing you maybe able to do is to find a place that does custom molding & once agree to the job then remove everything and have them measure, etc to mold and create a new one. First method I believe is similar to what they do in new ones. You may want to pick David or Steve's brain at FT.
There is also some German product that they started to sell at Home Depot, it has a strange name, it comes with some kind of orange shower pan and some corner tapes. It is suppose to be the best of the best water tight.
