This is the shot they have on the 50th anniversary brochure, from 1967 to 2017...only they skipped right from 1995 (Grand Villa) to 2005, what about the fantastic ones in between?  .....oh well....there are 7 altogether lined up, 1967, 1984, 1995, 2005, 2009, 2016 & 2017....

Newell has had something similar to that for some unknown time.  When I was at the Tampa show last year, the Newell salesman was really proud of their air operated door that seemed to kind of vacuum the door very tightly closed.  It did open out in the normal way though without sliding.  I would bet no wind noise through that type of arrangement.  We don't get much at all through ours but I guess the rv industry is a bit "keep up with the joneses".

If memory serves me early 90's Monaco signatures had an air sealing entry door

If you go over to MOT you will see usually one Newell with an air door issue.
