Title: Cat scratch fever
Post by: CAPEHORN31 on January 22, 2016, 11:52:40 am
I am soooooo mad, my cat decided to use the window valance to sharpen his claws. He ruined the fabric on the passenger side front window.  I need a resource to purchase some new fabric to repair the scratched up one.  its for a 1997 U295, the fabric is dark brown.  NO MORE CATS IN THE COACH.

Oof - sorry to read that!

There is an extremely tiny possibility that FOT has some (you'd need to give them the build number so they could look up the fabric), but they sold pretty much all the pre-IH fabrics that were still laying around a couple of years ago - clearance sale at the first Buddy Rally then I believe someone bought the entire lot of what was leftover.

If you're handy with a staple gun (and staple pulling), you might consider recovering all the window surrounds with a new fabric.  It's not that bad a DIY project.

One of our original valences was chewed up by an unnamed canine suspect last year. James at Xtreme sent us to  Infinity Custom Upholstery (936) 560 2188 in Nacogdoches. Infinity purchased the lot of fabrics from the FT plant. Wild assortment of colors, textures and tastes! You might get lucky emailing a pic of your fabric to them in search of a match.

They removed and recovered all of our valances in three days. Great job and a good group to work with. (Our dog declined to comment through his attorney.) Good luck! Paul
