Title: dash heater wiring
Post by: craneman on February 02, 2016, 03:15:12 pm
While working on the dash air I noticed that the switch for the passenger side dash/ floor control only has one wire. Has anyone noticed where the wire comes from for my empty terminal? The schematics that came in the owners notebook doesn't have a drawing for this area.

Just looked at my switches and your missing one is on mine a yellow with black line-just like the left switch in your 1st picture. That terminal on mine is an orange wire..
OK the missing wire goes to the bottom right relay that is in a bank of about 6 under centre lift up console. The right one has another  relay under it and the wire goes to bottom right terminal.
I will switch computers and post these so it hopefully helps.

Thanks,
Could you post a picture of your 2 switches? maybe the one on my left switch belongs on the right. If so it would leave a empty terminal on the left.

Solved!
James at Foretravel found an old drawing for this coach and the "C" terminal that the yellow with black stripe goes to is supposed to be blank and the wire goes to the empty terminal in the mode switch.
