I can't find a source for the small black, normally closed proximity switches that are used for the cabinet lighting.
Does anyone have a supplier?
Do you have a picture? If it is what I think it is I use those by the hundreds and can give you one.
Google is your friend, try Mouser Electronic or Digi Key.

Amazon.com has them. Type in "door, window reed switch"
This is the switch I got from Amazon to replace my broken one on the screen door. (Mine had been white; the black matches the door frame better.) The brief description is:

Can't get LED strip lights to work (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=26718.msg215914#msg215914)
After buying NO and NC switches from several place I realized that most sellers have no idea what that means. From most sources you have a 50/50 chance of actually getting what you want. The link above references what I ended up using NO/NC depending on which wire you use. Always work. These are small, self stick, 100% OK as delivered, never had one fail. Shop around, they are available in multiple pack on ebay etc. Get the ones where the white, black and gray wires come out of the end.
5X Optional No Door Window Contact Magnetic Reed Switch Alarm 3W 10 20mm | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/5x-Optional-NC-NO-Door-Window-Contact-Magnetic-Reed-Switch-Alarm-3W-10-20mm-/262021963197)
Amazon doesn't offer a black, normally closed proximity switch like the ones in our coaches.
Can of spray paint will make them any color you desire.
These look fine as they are. They're about 1/2"x3/4"
I would call FT parts and ask them. ^.^d
I have emailed them several times and haven't heard back.
I'm hard of hearing on the blower.
ZF Cherry mp201801
Great Bill!
Thanks
This switch, ZF Cherry mp201801, is listed on their web site as a NO switch. Common definition for a NO switch says that when the magnet is brought close to the switch the contacts will close. This means the lights controlled by the switch will be on when the door is closed.

This is the NC version (MP201802)
http://www.onlinecomponents.com/zf-electronics-corp-mp201802.html?p=11075404
I did not see a NO/NC version.
Prices are good.
$50 minimum order, about $8 min shipping. Still good prices.
Different manufacturers use these definitions backwards. If you are not sure, absolutely sure, buy one and see what it does. If it does what you want then buy more. After buying several from different sources getting different results every time, I wnet for the NC / NO combination switches. They will work in the way I want, either way, everywhere I want to use them.
I had one sales rep tell me that normally open switches are used on windows that are normally open.
I just ordered 2 switches.
Per Mouser;
o Minimum Order
No minimum order dollar amount on products normally stocked in our warehouse.
Good luck with the NO switches. We are trying to be helpful here. Are you going to tell us where you you bought your switches and the price? Thanks
I bought (2) switches with activators from Mouser as Bill Willett had advised, (1) NO and (1) NC for $16.95
including shipping.
Sorry for the confusion.
What is Mouser? Let us know how they work. I am not sure how many I used but they are on almost every cabinet and closet door in my coach. most lighting circuits have switched power as well so the doors can be opened without turning on the lights.
These are low power switches (3 watts). Watch how much you are switching on.
Mouser is an electrical supply house.

I received my Mouser order yesterday and here are the results;
Mouser Part #: 540-MP201802 checks out as a NC switch
Mouser Part #: 540-MP201801 checks out as a NO switch
Mouser's got it right!
Thanks again Bill.
