This weekend while in Perry GA. for the FMCA Rally, we are using the Generator power supplied here. Last night we noticed the AC changed sounds, I looked at my monitor and noticed it was at 108 V so, I shut the AC off. I then watched the monitor drop to 94-95V before the power was shut off. I am glad I was here to shut down the AC. I am anxious to hear what Progressive has to say. I was told it was probably a bad board, but I had no indication of it. Now, I am not sure how much protection I really have.
Just FYI.
@Green99,
IIRC Progressive has a lifetime warranty on their EMS. I've heard their support is great too. Good luck!

Green99, I'd be curious how old your EMS is: we have the portable version, but it's new. Did it give a code # indicating a problem with the unit?

Call Progressive and tell them your situation. They will have you do some testing at their instructions and will deal with the results in a professional manner. My 50 amp portable failed on 50 amp but still worked on 30 amps- no idea why. Progressive took care of me and I'm sure they will take care of you too.
Best of luck.

You should be plugged in and near your coach where you can read the error codes for the tech. Tech support is available seven days a week 9-5 Eastern. 919.267.6964
On re-reading the OP, I'm wondering if the EMS did it's job by shutting down the system and would have shut-down the AC, as well. Worth a chat with the tech, though
Hi Mike,
I shut down the AC at 108v. The EMS shutdown the power at 94-95v. I don't think the AC would have faired well at 95v.
As others have posted I am sure they will resolve the issue with the EMS, my concern is that I have no way of knowing it is not working properly.
Mike,
You had asked about the age of the unit.
I purchased it in October 13, but didn't install until spring of 14.
I spoke with Progressive and they are sending out a new board. I have asked that they let me know what they find after testing the old board.
