I have read lots of instructions on how to level my coach and how to return to travel mode. The problem is that I am making it hard. I have made it so hard I'm afraid to even use it. Can someone list the steps to level which I think I can do, my main problem is returning to travel mode. My coach is a 95 uni-coach and I have hydraulic jacks. Thanks
You're not the first to wonder about the jacks, I went through the questions, myself. Can you post a pic of the "brain" in the left side driver's area and if it's like our's, I can help.
Mike I'm not at the coach but it has a store, level, dump button along with on-off and buttons to raise sides and front and rear. Does this help you?
A 1995 model U320 has hydraulic jacks for leveling? That seems kinda weird... I thought all U320's were full air leveling?
Anyway, see if you can find your system on this page. If so, the manual should give you some hints on how to operate it.

Thanks Chuck by the models you sent I have the 510 series which I will have to email HWH
See if this is the right system. If so, it has some trouble shooting and operating instructions.

Chuck I mis-spoke earlier my system is closer to the 610 series but my control panel also has a dump feature. Also my jacks do not touch the ground . Only a few couches were equipped this way. To much confusion so they did away with it. Mike and Chuck I will take a picture of the control panel mine is different from any I have seen. Thank you both for your help.
Check here and see if you see your control panel:

Chuck it appears to be either the 610 or 625 which I will have to confirm with a picture.
I'd say the 610 Central Ground Series is more likely, since it was used from 1993-2003.
If that is the case, I believe this might be the correct manual for your system:

I am pretty sure the 680 series is what was used on my 2000 U295; it was made by Ramco from 1997 to 2002.

Chuck and Mike see attached picture it is the 610 series and part of my confusion was that the previous owner gave me directions to a different system
picture didn't go.
Your picture came through fine. It sure looks like the panel shown in the last manual I linked above.

You said in one of your earlier posts "...my jacks do not touch the ground". Do you mean when you try to use the "automatic" leveling feature? The way I read the manual, the system is supposed to completely dump the air pressure in the suspension bags, and THEN extend the leveling jacks, as required. If yours is not automatically dumping the air, it might not be sitting low enough for the jacks to reach the ground?
Chuck its hard to explain but leveling works fine. When I hit the level button twice it dumps and then levels. I was having trouble getting jacks to retract. Now I know how to operate. I will post a picture of the jack location they are not designed to touch the ground, but are are postioned to act like an air bag. I didn't even know I had jacks I thought it was all air. So now I have to hit the store button and wait the 6 minutes so system retracts and travel light comes on. The dump button only needs to be used when manually dumping. This system was only used a short time because it had to many problems and was confusing to owners.
OK...I think I'm starting to get the idea now... Wow, that is REALLY a strange setup! I would certainly like to see the photos of the jacks, and where they are located. The jacks don't "push" on the ground - they actually push on one of the suspension members. In order to drive away, I guess the air bags must have to inflate and take the load off the jacks which are wedged in between the frame members, and THEN the jacks can retract so they don't interfere with suspension movement.
Or something like that...
This doesn't sound like ANY of the HWH systems I was looking at...it is more like a strange "Hybrid" combination of air and hydraulic leveling.
This is why I LOVE this Forum - I learn something NEW almost every time I visit.
Same here, not anything like our's, which is hydraulic only.
Chuck attached is a picture of the jack of which there are four. They are in the retracted position. The one in the picture is of the right front wheel. During leveling the air bags slowly dump and then the jacks level.
Thanks for the photo. This is the first time I have ever read anything about this type of HWH leveling. I am going to do more (online) research and see if I can find any more information.
The 610 series manual I linked is not exactly the same (obviously), because it refers to the jacks touching the ground. Hopefully, the operating procedure is close enough that it also works on your system.
Have you ever encountered another Foretravel owner with this same setup? I would think it is VERY rare!
And yet, the keypad looks like the same as ours, EXCEPT for the dump feature, which could be our buddy's problem.
I have never seen another like it. Paul Yesbeck in Leesburg fl pointed out to me when he was doing some service and told me very few were built this way. This was an early build [first uni-coach sold] and so if anybody else has it, please say so. Chuck and Mike thank you both for your help and Chuck I believe you are correct in that the 610 instructions will work just fine.
