The powerline monitor says less than 110v with the generator running. In checking voltage at the panel on the foot ov the bed at the main braeaker I have 117 on one leg and 119 on the other under a load. The guestion is is the
Powerline meter adjustable?
My meter that the coach came with is not accurate any longer. I was told you can adjust it but you can also bust it doing that. SO I do not worry about it as I have the progressive that tells me the voltage.
My powerline reads almost 10 volts low as well.
Is this the one with the green phosphor bulbs? If so, it is adjustable but you'll want to have a known good source (basically you would be calibrating it).
Now, if it only reads low with the generator but not shore power you don't want to adjust it before finding out WHY there is a difference, otherwise it will then read high on shore power.
Again, find a known good source before adjusting the pots to what you think the voltage actually is.
I need to check it on shore power against the progressive, no shore power till tomorrow. Thanks for the replies.
Plugged into shore power wth progressive in place. The power watch is about 8-10 v lower.
