Both of the lens of the Hella fog lights are cracked and broken. FT said $1,500 to replace the lights :o What have others done about replacing their fog light lens.
Mike
A few people have replaced the entire assembly with LED fixtures. Amazon has quite a variety. The "Kawell" brand seems to be of high-quality.
If your lights are like the ones originally fitted to our U280, they probably take Hella 550 series inserts. The glass lens and reflector are one piece, with a replaceable halogen bulb. Widely available in several lens styles, clear or yellow tinted fog. For instance:

Ours are wired to the headlights, which means, in fog, they are worthless.
Change the power source for the relay to "always hot" - not a difficult job. Several comments about replacing lights in this thread:

Or, like D. J. said, replace the Hella lights with LEDs. Ours work great, and they are VERY bright.
